In my free time, I enjoy hiking, skiing, and travel

After graduating from the University of Colorado in 1979 with a BSEE and a CS Minor, I accepted a Quality Engineering position at Motorola in Austin, Texas, where I worked until I retired in 2012.

 

During my tenure I gained experience in a wide range of areas

  • Started and Managed a World Class Failure Analysis Lab

    • Expert in Digital Circuits Analysis and Debug

    • Expert in Analog Circuits Analysis and Debug

    • Bench top Automated Testers programming

    • Creation and Implementation of Diagnostic Fault Simulation Tools for Failure Analysis and Yield Enhancement

    • Synthesis of schematics from design net-lists optimized for die navigation

 

  • Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff

    • Design Liaison for Customer Issues

    • Corrective Action investigations and creation

    • Root cause analysis strategies for yield enhancement

 

  • My recent consulting projects include a TCL based "Control Panel" for a TPI RF synthesizer Module and development of c-based embedded drivers and hardware debug for a medical tracking device.
